“Gastro the Snail” was my first venture into animation/video/digital art. I had a vision of an adult cartoon (think late night Comedy Central or Adult Swim) involving an alcoholic, crude, anti-hero snail with a lot of personal baggage. He tries to live on the fringes of society, but keeps being pulled back into the world he so desperately wants to avoid.
The project spanned over 3 years and taught me so much! It was written and created in the hopes of me creating a much larger series with spin offs, but it proved to be way too much work for one person. I would not recommend watching the show unless you enjoy crude humor and poorly made cartoons! All 5 episodes are available on YouTube.
