Early Animations

Here are some animations from when I was first learning digital art and animation! I spent most of my early years working on “Gastro the Snail,” but I did make time to make some other shorts and videos.

“Finding Snarflomp” was my first solo video shoot! I shot this entire video with a single GoPro. I then handled all the editing, audio, and animation. This was one of the winners for best animation at the San Diego Fair. Warning: one swear word and some cartoon violence.

This is an improvised fake commercial I did to play in the middle of “Gastro the Snail.” Voice, animation, audio, nonsense, all by me. I’m not exactly sure what kind of bug Gimbpfur is, but he sure does love his pet flea!

A cartoon about a flower that dies and comes back to life as an undead (but not an evil one). It was intended to be the intro for an online TV series. This project never panned out and the animation never got finished.

A quick commercial I put together for “Gastro the Snail.” Warning: some cartoon violence.

One of my first animations after learning 2D animation. Short and sweet!

Here are some of my first attempts at 3D animation from Spring 2018.

A fun 3D animation test created in Maya. The assignment was to create a catapult and have it throw something. I did a lot of experimenting with this one!

Here is a test 3D animation created in Maya. This was for a small class assignment, but of course I went way overboard with the camera angles, light sources, etc.

A green screen project from school. I took myself to the fictional world of “Bugtown” and it did not go well! Warning: some cartoon violence.

There are a few other short animations on my YouTube that are crude or NSFW due to language!

“Dadbot” was a cartoon concept that I worked on for a while, but never made a full episode.
